RabbiJasonMiller

I created this website in 1996 as a college student in James Madison College at Michigan State University. It has changed stylistically many times in the ensuing years, but has always contained the content that is most important to me -- namely, the Torah that I have to offer.

Always interested in how technology affects the global Jewish community, I believe the borders of the Jewish world are disappearing at a rapid pace. Jewish wisdom is now disseminated throughout the world at lightning speed thanks to the marvels of technology. I am grateful that my Torah knows no boundaries and is available to the global audience. Over the years I've become an expert in the field of social media marketing and I put that expertise to work for companies, organizations and individuals at Access Social Media, a division of Access Computer Technology, where I serve as president.

With my eye on the intersection of Judaism and technology, I write the Jewish Techs blog for The New York Jewish Week and blog for the Huffington Post as well. My personal blog, which I began in 2003, covers a variety of topics -- sports, entertainment, politics, parenting and technology to name a few -- all through a Jewish perspective.

Hoping to present the Jewish community with more options for kosher food, I founded Kosher Michigan -- a kosher certification initiative. The kosher diet has become increasingly popular throughout the world and I am happy to be involved in the process of kosher supervision and certification.

I am available for speaking engagements and scholar-in-residence events. Contact me for more information.
